It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bloomfield had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Albuquerque Academy Chargers 4-2. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won three in a row.

Blake Spencer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
