Volleyball Recap: Chicago Mathematics & Science Takes a Loss

Chicago Mathematics & Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Chicago Marshall Commandos. Chicago Mathematics & Science was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Chicago Marshall apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

While Chicago Mathematics & Science was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 26-24.

Chicago Mathematics & Science's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Chicago Marshall, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chicago Mathematics & Science will square off against rival Farragut at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Chicago Marshall is set to challenge their familiar foe Foreman at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
