Soccer Recap: Florence Takes a Loss

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lago Vista Vikings, falling 4-1. The match was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for the Buffaloes it sure didn't stay that way.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Lago Vista, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Florence will square off against Burnet at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. As for Lago Vista, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Jarrell at 7:00 p.m.
