Basketball Recap: Terrell Academy Takes a Loss

Terrell Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 61-42 bruising from the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 55-48 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Terrell Academy suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-2. As for Citizens Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Terrell Academy and Quitman County will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Terrell Academy is facing Quitman County at the right time seeing as Quitman County is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Citizens Christian Academy, they will square off against Stratford Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
