After losing to Houston the last time they met, Collierville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Collierville Dragons slipped by the Houston Mustangs 53-52 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Collierville was led to victory by Ehi Aigbomian and Hilary Shikuku. Aigbomian dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards, while Shikuku posted 16 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Those 16 points gave Aigbomian a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Ann Jennings, who had seven points.

Collierville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Houston only five offensive rebounds.

Caidyn Sanders and Mckenzie Percoski certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Sanders scored 17 points and six boards, while Percoski earned 15 points and five rebounds. The contest was Percoski's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Laila Mcnamee, who put up seven points.

Collierville's record is now 26-5. As for Houston, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-10.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Collierville will square off against Bartlett at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Collierville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season. As for Houston, they will take on Arlington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Houston also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 54 points per game.
