It was a good run, but Suffern unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 65-48 fall against the North Rockland Raiders. The matchup marked the Mounties' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Suffern's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 13-2. As for North Rockland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Suffern and North Rockland should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Suffern will face off against Ramapo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 706 places (42 vs. 748). Suffern is looking to tack on another W to their 12-game streak on the road dating back to last season. Meanwhile, North Rockland (ranked 45th) will meet Clarkstown South (ranked 480th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
