Softball Recap: Nedrose Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Nedrose is still undefeated this season after their game against Hazen on Friday, but Hazen came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Cardinals came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 24-23 W against the Bison. While the Cardinals didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-8-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Nedrose pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 17.5 runs this season. As for Hazen, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nedrose will face off against Max at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hazen, they will head out to face off against Stanley at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
