Football Game Preview: Fort Bend Clements Rangers vs. Fort Bend Travis Tigers + Official Tickets

Fort Bend Clements is 1-8 against Fort Bend Travis since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Rangers will welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Fort Bend Clements has given up an average of 45.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fort Bend Clements is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Fort Bend Elkins on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Rangers were dealt a 44-12 loss at the hands of the Knights.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in George Jreissaty and Tyson Craft. Craft had a great game and rushed for 64 yards and a pair of scores. Meanwhile, Jreissaty was balling out in the loss, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Fort Bend Travis came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Vikings 55-0. 55 seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Fort Bend Travis' win came from a few key players Fort Bend Clements will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was EIAN BAKER, who threw for 108 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 51 yards on only six carries. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Adeleke Ajayi was another key player, rushing for 53 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries.

Fort Bend Travis' win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Fort Bend Clements, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Fort Bend Clements was dealt a bruising 56-18 loss at the hands of Fort Bend Travis in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rangers were down 42-6.
