Recap: Dallas International vs. Alcuin Hawks
On Tuesday, Dallas International was beaten by Alcuin 62-21. Dallas International has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Alcuin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jake Walker, who scored 16 points along with eight steals. That's the first time this season that Walker scored 15 or more points. Spencer Smith was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Dallas International's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alcuin, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dallas International will square off against Garland Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Garland Christian Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Alcuin, they will head out on the road to square off against Wylie Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Riley Peterson and Smith.
