Salem won the last time they faced Roxana and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 13-8 win over the Shells. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Alivia Rasul was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Isabella Decker was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Salem's victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Roxana, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Salem is set to square off against their familiar foe Columbia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Roxana will face off against rival Freeburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
