Bristol Eastern is a perfect 4-0 against Farmington since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lancers are taking a road trip to face off against the River Hawks at 4:00 p.m. Bristol Eastern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Bristol Eastern after they put the first run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 10-5 to Glastonbury. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emily Valentine was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Maria Albert, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Farmington entered their matchup against Nonnewaug on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The River Hawks came up short against the Chiefs, falling 20-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the River Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Farmington suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-4. As for Bristol Eastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Everything went Bristol Eastern's way against Farmington in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, as Bristol Eastern made off with a 24-0 victory. Will the Lancers repeat their success, or do the River Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
