After only one  run in their last  matchup, Bishop Ready made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Bexley  on Wednesday. The Silver Knights put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp  14-4 victory. The Silver Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by ten  runs or more this season.
The team  relied heavily on  Avalyn McCoy, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and two  runs. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Ana Sanchez, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Bishop Ready was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .429. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Bishop Ready's record is now 4-9. As for Bexley, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Ready will venture away from home to  take on West Jefferson  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Roughriders' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8  runs per game  this season, so the Silver Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bexley, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Madison Christian  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
