Softball Recap: Scotts Hill Takes a Loss

Scotts Hill lost against University School of Jackson two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bruins. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scotts Hill's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for University School of Jackson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season.

Scotts Hill will host Adamsville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for University School of Jackson, they will head out to take on Trinity Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season.
