Soccer Game Preview: Porter vs. Dayton

The Porter Spartans will take on the Dayton Broncos at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Porter is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering West Fork just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Gators could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Spartans happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Meanwhile, Dayton hasn't lost a match since January 11th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against West Fork. The Broncos' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

With that draw, Dayton's record moves to 5-3-3. Meanwhile, Porter's record is now 7-0-1.
