Volleyball Recap: Ridgway Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ridgway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Mancos Bluejays, falling 3-0. The Demons were not able to make up for their loss to the Bluejays from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Ridgway was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-8, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Ava Berwanger and Madison Megahee, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Sasha Kingsford and her eight assists. Berwanger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Ridgway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Mancos, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bluejays beat Ridgway by a score of 3-0 later that day.
