On Friday Tanner Watkins didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. The effort also marked the fewest hits (three) Watkins has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than six strikeouts. This year, he has an ERA of 2.88 over 34 innings pitched.
