Volleyball Recap: Peyton Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Fountain Valley typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Peyton proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Danes. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Danes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Peyton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-23, 25-19, 25-14.

Peyton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season. As for Fountain Valley, their loss ended a nine-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-7.

Looking ahead, Peyton will square off against Calhan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fountain Valley, they will challenge Addenbrooke Classical Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
