Football Recap: Drexel/Miami Skates Past Greenfield with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Archie, Drexel/Miami was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Greenfield Wildcats 82-40. Considering Drexel/Miami has won three contests by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

When it comes to explaining why Greenfield lost, don't look at Hudson McGuire. Despite the final result, he picked up 69 receiving yards and two scores, and also rushed for 40 yards and a pair of TDs. McGuire also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Andrew Mays also helped out with an impressive 96 receiving yards.

Drexel/Miami now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Greenfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Drexel/Miami will host Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenfield, they will venture away from home to take on Bishop LeBlond at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
