Basketball Recap: Marriotts Ridge Comes Up Short

Marriotts Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 44-25 fall against the Mt. Hebron Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mt. Hebron this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-26 back in December of 2024.

Marriotts Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Mt. Hebron, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Looking ahead, Marriotts Ridge will take on Glenelg on Wednesday. As for Mt. Hebron, they will head out on the road to challenge Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westminster is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Mt. Hebron a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
