Timberlane took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Bedford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Owls sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Bulldogs on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Owls, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Timberlane's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Bedford, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Timberlane has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Portsmouth on the 18th. As for Bedford, they will venture away from home to square off against Pinkerton at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
