Montezuma has gone 10-0 against Colfax-Mingo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Montezuma Braves will host the Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks at 6:00 p.m. Montezuma is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Last Tuesday, Montezuma blew past B-G-M, posting a 64-18 win. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Colfax-Mingo had to suffer through a 56-28 loss at the hands of Lynnville-Sully. The Tigerhawks haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Montezuma's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.4 points per game. As for Colfax-Mingo, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Everything went Montezuma's way against Colfax-Mingo when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Montezuma made off with a 49-26 win. Will Montezuma repeat their success, or does Colfax-Mingo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
