Soccer Game Preview: Interlachen vs. Branford

The Interlachen Rams will challenge the Branford Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Interlachen fell victim to Newberry and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 4-0 to the Panthers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Rams haven't been shut out since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Branford hasn't lost a match since December 13, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They and Lafayette finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw.

Samantha Ray and Delilah Poore scored all three of Branford's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Interlachen's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-4. With that draw, Branford's record moves to 8-5-4.

Interlachen was able to grind out a solid victory over Branford when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 3-1. Will Interlachen repeat their success, or does Branford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
