Basketball Recap: Raines Comes Up Short

Raines managed to slip by Oakleaf the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings had to suffer through a 55-14 loss at the hands of the Knights. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Raines has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Oakleaf, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8.

Looking ahead, Raines and Leon will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Oakleaf, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mainland at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
