Basketball Recap: Bedford Comes Up Short

Bedford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers 63-29. The match marked the Bisons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Owen Taylor was Bedford's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Owen Tedrow took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Bedford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Westmont Hilltop, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bedford will face off against Bishop McCort at 7:15 p.m. on January 15th. As for Westmont Hilltop, they will square off against Richland at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Westmont Hilltop knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Richland likes a good challenge.
