Volleyball Recap: Fort Lauderdale Takes Down Plantation in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Fort Lauderdale had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Plantation Colonels on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Leading Fort Lauderdale to victory were Sean Pugh and Thomas Ferner. Pugh had five aces and four digs, while Ferner had 16 digs and six kills. That's the most digs Pugh has posted since April 1st.

Fort Lauderdale's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Plantation, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Fort Lauderdale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Pompano Beach on the 29th. Plantation does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
