Volleyball Recap: Crestview Snags Ninth Victory in Last 12 Games

Crestview won the last time they faced Jefferson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats.

Crestview never let Jefferson on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 25-16.

Leading Crestview to victory were Lydia Grace and Emily Lichtle. Grace had eight digs and two aces, while Lichtle had six digs and four aces. That's the most digs Grace has posted over her last two matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Crestview was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jefferson only served eight.

Crestview has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Jefferson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

Crestview has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Lima Central Catholic on the 2nd. As for Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Allen East on the 2nd.
