Volleyball Recap: Thomas A. Edison Comes Up Short

The Thomas A. Edison Owls lost 3-0 to the Lansdale Catholic Crusaders on Tuesday. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thomas A. Edison was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-22.

Nehemiah Rosado paced Thomas A. Edison's offense, picking up ten kills. Rosado got some help from Rodrigo Alvarez and his 13 assists. Finally, Wilmer Basilio kept Thomas A. Edison's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Thomas A. Edison now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Lansdale Catholic, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Coming up, Thomas A. Edison will square off against Academy at Palumbo at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lansdale Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. Joseph's Prep at 5:15 p.m.
