Baseball Recap: Chatham Central Comes Up Short

Chatham Central lost against Southeast Alamance last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chatham Central Bears came up short against the Southeast Alamance Stallions, falling 11-1.

Chatham Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reid Caviness, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Chatham Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southeast Alamance, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chatham Central will welcome Forbush at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Southeast Alamance, they will host Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
