 Halifax scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They won by a  run and slipped past the Camp Hill Lions  17-16. With that  victory, Halifax brought their scoring average up to 6.5  runs per game.
  Paige Miller was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-5.  McKenna Peryea was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 4-for-5.
 Halifax's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Camp Hill, they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Halifax will  square off against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Halifax is facing Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at the right time seeing as Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy is stuck on  a  13-game losing streak. As for Camp Hill, they will head out on the road to  take on  Harrisburg at 4:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Camp Hill will also cruise into their next  match with the timing on their side: Harrisburg will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's  matchup.
