Softball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

Morgan lost against John Glenn last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders fell 7-4 to the Little Muskies. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Allia Rush was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for John Glenn, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morgan will head out to challenge Maysville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Raiders are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for John Glenn, they are taking a road trip to take on West Muskingum at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tornadoes will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
