Basketball Recap: South Side Takes a Loss

If South Side was feeling good fresh off their 56-24 takedown of White County Central last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The South Side Hornet were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 47-46 to the Bigelow Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornet in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost six in a row.

South Side's loss dropped their record down to 20-14. As for Bigelow, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

As of now, neither South Side nor Bigelow have any future games scheduled.
