The home team had come away the winner the last six times Imlay City and Armada had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Spartans put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 4-1 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for Imlay City, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Imlay City's victory bumped their record up to 9-6-2. As for Armada, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7-1.

Imlay City wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Almont on the 1st. As for Armada, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 loss against Croswell-Lexington on the 2nd.
