Soccer Game Preview: Worthington Christian vs. Northridge

The Worthington Christian Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Northridge Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Worthington Christian had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the nine-goal drubbing they dealt Whitehall-Yearling on Wednesday. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Rams a 9-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for Worthington Christian in their matchups with Whitehall-Yearling: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Northridge won against Lakewood on Saturday with five goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Wednesday. The Vikings blew past Watkins Memorial 5-2.

Worthington Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-1-1. As for Northridge, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-1.
