Baseball Recap: Bethel Assembly Christian Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against New Life Academy, Bethel Assembly Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against Northeast Academy by a score of 5-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for Bethel Assembly Christian Academy as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Peyton Liverman, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with three stolen bases, two doubles, and one run. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played. Caleb Morris was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Bethel Assembly Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive matchups.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Northeast Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

As of now, neither Bethel Assembly Christian Academy nor Northeast Academy have any future games scheduled.
