Soccer Game Preview: Turlock vs. Davis Sr.

The Turlock Bulldogs will square off against the Davis Sr. Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Turlock sitting on six straight victories and Davis Sr. on four.

Turlock is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Oak Ridge a 1-0 shutout. Turlock wouldn't have won without Keegan Pires, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Davis Sr. had just enough and edged out Franklin 1-0 on Thursday. Davis Sr.'s defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Turlock's win bumped their record up to 14-3-4. As for Davis Sr., their victory bumped their record up to 16-1-3.

Turlock was able to grind out a solid win over Davis Sr. in their previous meeting back in February of 2017, winning 2-0. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
