Volleyball Recap: The Vanguard School Has No Trouble Against Fountain Valley

The Vanguard School won the last time they faced Fountain Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Coursers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Danes.

Lucas Soeldner paced The Vanguard School's offense, picking up six kills. Soeldner got some help from Joseph Wetters and his 15 assists. Soeldner was also solid from the service line: he led the team with eight aces.

The Vanguard School's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Fountain Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. The Vanguard School will take on rival Canon City at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fountain Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Thomas MacLaren School at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
