Aragon won against San Mateo on Tuesday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Dons beat the Bearcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Tuesday.

Mason Miller tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Aragon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adi Shanker, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Aragon and bumps their season record up to 7-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for San Mateo, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Aragon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-1 loss against St. Ignatius College Preparatory on the 26th. As for San Mateo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-1 win against Lowell on the 26th.
