Football Recap: Meadowbrook Falls to Tri-Valley in First Game of Season

Meadowbrook unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 48-28 to the Tri-Valley Scotties on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Meadowbrook lost, don't look at Michael Ray. Despite the final result, he threw for 221 yards and two TDs, and also picked up 34 receiving yards and one score.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meadowbrook is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Barnesville at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Tri-Valley, they will head out to take on Granville at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
