Softball Recap: Chiloquin Takes a Loss

Chiloquin had lost six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it seven. They came up short against the Riddle Irish, falling 25-3. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Irish from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

As for Riddle, the victory got them back to even at 5-5. Considering they have won four games by more than 13 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

For Riddle's part, A. Hildebrand made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. Hildebrand has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Riddle got a massive performance out of C. Warner, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. M. Davison was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Riddle beat Chiloquin by a score of 25-3 on Friday.
