Basketball Recap: Sidy Koite Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat SEED DC

Idea won the last time they faced SEED DC and things went their way on Friday too. The Idea Timberwolves came out on top against SEED DC by a score of 64-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Timberwolves.

Idea got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sidy Koite out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Koite is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Sean Baltimore was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 12 points and five assists.

Idea was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as SEED DC only racked up seven assists.

Despite the loss, SEED DC still got an impressive performance from Zeadon Myles, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Markel Ingram, who posted eight points.

Idea's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for SEED DC, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.

Idea has already played their next match (against Ballou), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. SEED DC will take on Douglass at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Douglass' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
