Softball Preview: Sylacauga Aggies vs. Munford Lions
The Sylacauga Aggies will head out on the road to face off against the Munford Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Munford took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Sylacauga, who comes in off a win.
On Thursday, Sylacauga needed a bit of extra time to put away Shelby County. They skirted past the Wildcats 9-8. The victory was some much needed relief for the Aggies as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Natalee Deason spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season.
