Softball Recap: Berkeley Carroll Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brooklyn Friends on Thursday, Berkeley Carroll came back down to earth. The Lions came up short against the Trevor Day Dragons on Friday, falling 12-2.

Berkeley Carroll saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Lengyel, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one run.

Berkeley Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Trevor Day, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berkeley Carroll will welcome St. Ann's at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trevor Day, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nightingale-Bamford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
