Volleyball Recap: Sevier County Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Sevier County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Heritage Mountaineers. This was a revenge game for the Smoky Bears: when they faced off against the Mountaineers on September 4th, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Sevier County who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 16-25, 25-22, 20-25, 15-8.

Sevier County's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Heritage, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-4.

Coming up, Sevier County is taking a road trip to challenge Morristown-Hamblen West at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage, they will host Lakeway Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
