Passaic County Tech is 8-2 against Clifton since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Mustangs at 4:15 p.m. Passaic County Tech's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matches, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Wednesday, Passaic County Tech didn't have quite enough to beat Passaic Valley and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Clifton came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a run and slipped past Kearny 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since May 8, 2024.

Sydney Reeb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, Casey Mullen and Isabella Franco did most of the damage at the plate: Mullen went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI, while Franco went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most doubles Mullen has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Stephanie Flete, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Clifton's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Passaic County Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Passaic County Tech beat Clifton 9-5 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
