Westfield put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Goodpasture Christian Cougars 12-2. Considering the Shamrocks have won four matches by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Corey Wilhelm looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lincoln Hoffman, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Law, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Westfield kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in four consecutive games.

Westfield pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average this season. As for Goodpasture Christian, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-8 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cougars beat Westfield by a score of 2-1 later that day.
