Volleyball Recap: Redfield Takes a Loss

Redfield's tournament run continued when they took on Hot Springs on Saturday. The Pheasants fell just short of the Bison by a score of 2-1.

Redfield came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 19-25, 27-25.

Despite the defeat, Redfield saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Katryn Evans had 25 digs.

Redfield has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Hot Springs, their win bumped their record up to 17-15.

Redfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Langford on the 18th. As for Hot Springs, they will square off against Spearfish at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
