On Thursday, Grimsley needed a bit of extra time to put away Western Guilford. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Hornets 4-3. Robbie Reeves was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Ragsdale was able to grind out a solid victory over Page on Tuesday, taking the game 5-3. Ragsdale haven't had any issues with Page recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Ragsdale's victory bumped their record up to 14-4-2. As for Grimsley, their win bumped their record up to 14-4-1.

Everything went Grimsley's way against Ragsdale in their previous matchup back in September, as Grimsley made off with a 4-1 victory. In that match, the Whirlies amassed a halftime lead of 4-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
