Volleyball Recap: Sandwich Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sandwich lost against Ottawa back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Pirates.

Sandwich was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Ottawa work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 27-25.

Liza Goodbred paced Sandwich's offense, picking up three kills. Goodbred got some help from Khloe White and her six assists. Rylee Huml controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Sandwich's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Ottawa, with the win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 9-20-2.

Coming up, Sandwich will venture away from home to challenge Woodstock North at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ottawa, they will welcome Sycamore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
