Basketball Game Preview: Concordia Panthers vs. Wamego Red Raiders

Concordia is on a three-game streak of home losses, Wamego a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Concordia Panthers will welcome the Wamego Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Concordia's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.

Last Tuesday, Concordia beat Marysville 63-54.

Meanwhile, Wamego came up short against Abilene on Tuesday, falling 54-29. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Cowboys are ranked 80th).

Wamego's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Concordia, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Concordia strolled past Wamego in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 67-53. Will Concordia repeat their success, or does Wamego have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
