Baseball Recap: Barringer Comes Up Short

Barringer's last matchup with Cedar Grove could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Blue Bears lost 10-3 to the Panthers. The Blue Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Abraham Lantigua made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Barringer's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Cedar Grove, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Barringer will take on Shabazz at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cedar Grove, they will venture away from home to challenge Brearley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
